RETREAT UPDATES

It’s been a beautiful October here in South Florida and we’re enjoying a little break in our warm weather. The temperatures have dropped a few degrees and the humidity is lower making it the perfect time of year to come join us for a fitness vacation. We’ve been working hard on some changes at the retreat including the launch of new programs and updates to existing retreats. We hope you love the new additions and changes as much as we do!

 

NEW PROGRAM! GOLF FITNESS RETREAT

We’re really excited about the new Golf Fitness Retreat. Golf is such a popular sport and one that can be played at any age. It’s the perfect addition to our line up. Most golfers are looking to improve their game yet they don’t actually train for the game. Because golf is highly athletic sport as well as a very technical game, having a specific training program for golf can not only improve your game but also reduce your risk of injury.

Type of Retreat: The golf fitness retreat is a private retreat. You’ll work one on one with our team while you’re at the retreat for all training sessions. In addition, we’ll develop a plan for you to take home with you.

What You’ll Experience: Expect to work on things involving strength, power, speed, balance and stability, core strength, separation and flexibility.

VITA BOOT CAMP ENHANCEMENTS

Vita Boot Camp has been one of our staple programs for the nearly 12 years we’ve been in business. While it’s a very well balanced program with a range of classes from sports conditioning to yin yoga, we figured it was time to make just a few small changes and updates.

You’re on vacation and part of going on vacation is to feel less stressed. Because we’re living in such a stressed out world, we’ve added a few light meditations (1 – 5 minutes) and stress reduction tips to some of our stretch and yoga classes. We also changed updated some strength and toning classes to challenging, yet low impact versions. This will allow for strength and conditioning without any jumping and jarring.

New Class Additions: No Impact Zone (a mix of cardio and strength in an interval format), Total Body Tone (a strength and toning class with gliding to shape your whole body).

Other Additions to Vita Boot Camp: New a.m. and p.m. DIY mind body stress reduction ideas are on the schedule. In addition, we’re offering a retreat journal (a way to set your goals and intentions at the retreat and plan for your return home) as well as an updated Vita Guide.

First and foremost, we’ll want to know what your goals are and what you want to get out of your coaching session. This way we can set you up for success. We’ll look into the three main areas of your life (nutrition, fitness and stress management) to determine what changes or adjustments need to be made so you can reach your goals.

While our friends to the north in the Florida Panhandle were affected by Hurricane Michael, we were not impacted at all in South Florida.

Vita Vie Retreat is located on the Atlantic Ocean in Delray Beach, between Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Our beaches are ready and waiting to greet you for your fitness retreat!
